The NY Design Center has a new tenant! It's 1stdibs.com, the sucessful online luxury marketplace for antique and vintage design and they have chosen NYDC as its first brick and mortar location. It's the entire 10th floor and let me tell you, I love the look--it's like a modern loft with high ceilings, 4 walls of expansive windows and I felt like I was strolling through a Parisian flea market! The space has fifty-three 1st dibs dealers from all over the US as well as international dealers from Paris and London. I was lucky enough to be there opening day and of course was camera ready for you guys! Alix Lerman, director of marketing and Alana Moskowitz, public relations manager were kind enough to extend an invitation to its opening day and also introduce me to some of the dealers. Here're a just few photos and I'll definitely be back to take more pictures of these amazing dealers. And next time I'll wear my runnin' around shoes! My work-out for the day- check!

How fun - the NYDC is top on my list the next time I'm in the city and I've heard the 1st dibs space is amazing. Love how some of the dealers created vignettes of their pieces - makes you want to buy all of them!
