Fireplaces. Always wanted one.  Unlike most people who want them in the living area I always wanted one in the bedroom-- my nest, my sanctuary, my haven.   

They add that unmistakable glow...

That extra detail...

That texture that comes with the surround whether it's wood, brick, stone, metal...

I leave mine on all day sometimes.  Write, eat, hangout in the bedroom-- why not? It's the ultimate cure for the end of winter blues...

...and, my dog enjoys it too!

 It's getting chilly out now and with the holidays coming I am so drawn to fireplaces more than ever. I have a non working fireplace that I fill with candles as often as I can to get that cozy vibe going. Here are some various fireplaces. What's your fav??
