I'm just having a moment today with lace. Loving it, so I had to share. I've done other lace posts and I swear I'm not really into it, I have one lace item in my wardrobe and it's a top. OK, I have more but those items are worn underneath my clothes. These are chic, chic, chic with an edge.

How cool is this? Paper mache or sugar starch a piece of lace or doily around a balloon and when it dries, stick a pin in the balloon and pop it! Voila, a gorgeous votive!

Not your grandma's Lace

Well, first of all--I was never a lace kind of person.  I'm not into doilies, or lace tablecloths and for a long time (I thought) that's all that was available other than a wedding gown or veil... But now?
Wow-the lace look is all over the place and the products made of lace or a lace pattern are beyond beautiful.  Check these out and you'll see what I mean. Have fun &...you're welcome. xo

I went to a movie screening with a friend yesterday.  We saw Sarah's Key, (a great movie, btw). At dinner afterwards I noticed her lace earrings and immediately asked if I could take a photo for this post! --So pretty, right? They're mesh-like, so they have movement on the ear. She made me try them on, so here's that photo...and yes, I gave them back...and no, I didn't want to!
