Clever uses for everyday items...

I'm always on the hunt for A) an easier  B)  a less expensive  C) a fun, creative way to use an item.  Here are a few ideas that cover the bases. Let me know if you try any of them. The photo above is an example of how you can transform your photos into a unique fabric print.
An apron as a curtain...adorable.
Flower...box
Fruit cups as office management
Tacs as a necklace organizer.
Cd case as bagel holder! Genius.
Comb or pick to steady a nail so you don't hit your fingers. Ouchless
 Scarf as a drapery tie-back
Finally! Use a staple remover to open a key ring and save your nails!
Rubber band around paint can for less drips (This has my name all over it)
The straw won't float up
Folded post it will catch drill dust

Other uses...

Via:Fancy that.
It's so insanely creative and refreshing to see something used in an unusual way. Check out these photos and let me know what you think. And if you have any ideas like this send them over, I'd love to see!
A picture frame tray
Earrings as pretty push-pins
Shower curtain hooks for heavier items
How's this for organic? Day-old popcorn for packaging instead of bubble wrap or styrofoam chips
A towel rod for hanging products by their nozzle

Bobby pins to hold pleats in place while you iron
Easy on the ears...a slice of cork glued to the inside of the cabinet so the doors don't slam.
Paint chips as place cards
A magnet (I need this one pronto-I always lose my tweezers!)
Lolly pops as cocktail stirrers!

Flip tops from cans
This is fairly common but worth repeating- a stylish bamboo ladder holds my towels and...
 Books at the shore house....
My flea market basket-box holds our building's (ugly) intercom phone

A lot less fingers would get smashed using a comb to hold a nail! Who knew?

A stocking over a vacuum hose to suck up small, lost items...now I just have to purchase a stocking.

Many thanks to my friend Loretta who inspired this post!
