I had so much fun with the last "Get Set" post and a great response from friends via email (I love your emails, but you can always comment here if you like...hint, hint) that I thought I'd do it again this week! DWP was a such fun movie and of course an insane amount of couture eye candy! But, today we're going to highlight the furniture. This 2006 Film was directed by David Frankel and had set decoration by Lydia Marks, art direction by Tom Warren, production design by Jess Gonchor and of course costume design by Patricia Field (Of Sex and the City fame). It Starred Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt. But, another star of the show was the character Miranda's NYC townhouse! It wasn't featured a lot but it caught my eye. Good thing for pause and slow-mo, which is why I rented it. Her office and hotel room had a fair amount of eye candy as well. Below each photo are photos of similar pieces to help you grab the look!
Of course I had to include these... Grab the look via: prada.com
Miranda's France hotel room.
Grab the French settee here: www.hickorychair.com
Grab this brass with black glass table from Emersonetcie.com for next to the settee

The kitchen got cut out of the movie, ahem...I can relate...(you know what I mean Spike Lee?) But you can still grab the look of those kitchen chairs with either of these from Hivemodern.com
